Included in the price.
All of our prices include fresh bedlinen, a towel per person and all charges (electricity, water, central heating, gas, wood for cottages with stoves, end of stay cleaning). Beds are made up for your arrival. Those little extras like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, bin bags, tea, and coffee are all in place for your arrival. For stays of two weeks or more we provide you with a weekly change of bedlinen and towels.
The guest is expected to arrive on the date and at the time mentioned in the contract. This arrival time is flexible only on condition that the guest fixes an agreed time with the host in advance (please understand that time is needed to prepare the cottages after each departure).
Length of stay.
The guest who signs this contract, which has pre-defined dates of arrival and departure, will have no right to stay on in the house after the stated dates.
Conclusion of the contract.
The booking becomes effective from the date that the host receives the returned , signed copy of the contract and a deposit of 30% of the total amount. This deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation by the guest.
The host must be notified of a cancellation by telephone or email.
- More than 30 days before the arrival date : the deposit can be used for a future stay.
- Less the 30 days before the arrival date : the full amount is due. If and only if the owner succeeds in re-renting the cottage, the amount paid can be used for a future stay.
- In the case of an early departure, the pre-arranged price remains the same.
A damage deposit of 150€ must be given the the host on arrival. This is to cover any breakages and damage caused during the stay. This deposit will be returned to the guest upon departure after an inspection of the premises by the host and guest on the morning of departure.
Please note that our cottages are strictly non-smoking. Failure to comply to this can result in the loss of your cautionary deposit.
Condition of the house at the end of stay.
The guest is expected to take care of the property, inside and out and all furniture, pictures, books, fittings, barbecues, sun umbrellas etc. and leave them in the same state of repair and condition at the end of their stay as found at the beginning. The property has to be left in a tidy condition including all dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils cleaned and all rubbish removed and placed in appropriate bins or recycling bins. But the bathroom/washroom does not need to be cleaned, the beds should not be undone and the floors do not need to be washed. Should the property be left in a very poor condition, requiring intensive cleaning, then this will be charged at 30€ per hour and deducted from the cautionary deposit.
This contract indicates the precise number of people booked into the house, this number cannot be increased unless agreed by the host. Please have a courtesy to inform the owners if you intend to invite people to the cottage. This number of people can not exceed four people at one time and not more than twice during your stay.
In no case can the guest arrive with an animal without prior agreement with the host. Well-behaved dogs are accepted in some of the cottages but not in ths summer.
Child friendly facilities.
Children are very welcome to our cottages. There is baby equipment available for each cottage, namely ; a travel cot and matress, high chair, baby bath & changing mat. There is a play area with a slide and chateau fort. These facilities are to be used respectfully. The owner will not be held responsable for any personal damages that occur as a result of usage. Please note that we require the cot and highchair to be left clean and in the condition that they were found.
We do not provide holiday or travel insurance. Please contact the insurance company of your choice if you require insurance.
